Introducing Me
I have had the pleasure to work with high performance track athletes, basketball and rugby players, swimmers and triathletes. I have been privileged to have played professional football, and work for one of Europe’s top premiership football clubs for more than 14 years. Ensuring that finely tuned athletes remained injury free and conditioned for the day-to-day rigors of training and most importantly perform at their optimal best.
Exercise and fitness are my passion that drives me to help people become better versions of themselves.
Everyone has the potential to achieve and become a fitter, healthier, stronger well-rounded human being.
I believe that there are no obstacles that when faced head on cannot be overcome. With my experience and expertise with-in professional sport, not only will your training with LH Pro Fitness be structured to your goals and needs, but it will also be enjoyable and consist of a wide variety of exercises to challenge and place demands on you to succeed and continue your journey to strive and achieve positive results.

As a competitive national swimmer, I needed a strength and conditioning coach to help me increase my power and speed and ultimately swim faster. I was introduced to Laurence through a friend who had previously worked with him to overcome a shoulder injury. From our first meeting I realised that I had much to work on and trusted Laurence with the task in hand. Training sessions are challenging but also rewarding as you see the progress you are making. Laurence is committed and dedicated to help you reach your goals. Nothing is too much trouble for him to help get his athletes and clients to achieve their best.
I started training with Laurence back in 2014 for two sessions a week. I have not met anyone as knowledgeable when it comes to training and his attention to detail to help fix the mobility problems that I had due to my work. Working is most enjoyable with Laurence and the sessions are specific to reach the desired outcome. I have achieved so much under Laurence’s guidance and tuition and would recommend him to anyone wanting to become fitter, more mobile and, stronger.
Training with LH Pro Fitness helped me to achieve my weight loss goal of shedding four stone in time for my wedding, he made every training session challenging and different and in turn helped me achieve fitness goals I never thought possible like Olympic lifts and a bench press of 135kg.
Laurence is a thoroughly professional and dedicated trainer. He takes time to get to know you as a person as well as a client, and he believes in you when you’re ready to give up on yourself. Thanks to Laurence and his unwavering belief in me, I can now squat over 100kg and deadlift 80kg. Working with Laurence is a fantastic experience.

I have worked with a few different personal trainers over the years, and I can honestly say none of them match up to Laurence in terms of dedication, expertise, planning, and skillset. I was carrying too much weight and not very fit. Laurence explains what he wants in simple terms. Never ducks a question and his choice and variety of exercises to help you become fitter and stronger are excellent. Laurence is easy to get along with and training sessions are enjoyable and productive.
In my late 40s I suffered from long term back and leg pain, eventually resulting in back surgery. The surgery resolved the cause of the pain, but I was left feeling unfit, out of condition and lacking the know-how to improve my physical fitness. When Laurence was recommended to me, I was low in confidence and nervous about entering a gym environment, but he very quickly put me at ease. He took time to understand my situation and tailored a strength and conditioning programme specifically for my needs. Now in my early 50s I am stronger and more physically fit than I have been in a very long time. I would thoroughly recommend Laurence’s services.
